A peek from the Town Crier’s Friday, June 2, 1967 issue – A huge crowd lined the route along Mildmay’s main street on Sunday, May 21, 1967 for the Memorial Parade and joined in the service at the Cenotaph. A peek from the Town Crier’s May 19, 1967 issue – Shown above are the fourteen members of the Mildmay-Carrick Centennial Committee that was first organized in October of 1966 to make plans to mark the 100th Birthday of the Dominion of Canada, being held May 19, 20, 21 and 22. The committee spent long hours and did much planning in making this event come true, and hoped everyone would enjoy themselves. Front row (left-right): Milton Filsinger, Harvey J. A peek from the Town Crier’s Wednesday, April 2nd, 1997 issue – Despite the winter weather conditions this past Sunday, there was still lots of smiles at Mildmay’s Easter Egg Hunt!  Everyone enjoyed cuddling the cute little baby chicks before the Egg Hunt began. A peek from the Town Crier’s March 30, 1973 issue – Hall Renovation work has been completed on the open stage area of the Mildmay-Carrick Community Centre.
