A peek from the Town Crier’s Friday, June 2, 1967 issue – A huge crowd lined the route along Mildmay’s main street on Sunday, May 21, 1967 for the Memorial Parade and joined in the service at the Cenotaph. Taking part in the parade was the Hanover Citizen’s Band,  members of the Royal Canadian Legion, Walkerton Branch, and shown above as they pass by is a convertible carrying Miss Canada and Miss Centennial followed by the Mildmay Girl Guides and Brownies.          – Town Crier photo
