A peek from the Town Crier’s Wednesday, April 13, 2011 issue – This was a typical view of the north side of the Belmore Arena when the tiny community staged its 44th Annual Belmore Maple Syrup Festival on Thursday and Saturday. There was a continuous stream of people seated at tables consuming mounds of homemade pancakes, sausage, applesauce, butter, milk, tea and coffee. Volunteer cooks and servers could be found to the left and entertainment on stage in the east end of the Arena. Craft items could be purchased in the Community Hall and Curling Arena. – Town Crier photo
