A peek from the Town Crier’s Friday, March 5, 1971 issue – On “Thinking Day” February 22, these thirteen Tweenies were officially enrolled in the Formosa Company of Brownies by the District Commissioner Mrs. Norman Porter of Walkerton (extreme right). Assisting Mrs. Porter was Walkerton Brown Owl Mrs. Von Hatten. Those moving into the Brownies class were (seated left to right) Yvonne Fischer, Donna Benninger, Patsy Strauss, Vicki Benninger, Doreen Kroeplin, Sharon Brick, Diane Fischer, (back row left to right) Harriet Dosman, Michele Batte, Brenda Schlosser, Darlene Schnurr, Christine Kramer and Diane Grubb.
