A peek from the Town Crier’s Friday, July 26, 1968 issue – Pictured here during a moment’s relaxation following their 10 hour drive to the Militia Summer Camp at Canadian Forces Base Petawawa are three members of the 21st Field Artillery Regiment from Mildmay. All three are high school students attending their first summer camp. They are (left to right) Danny Harrison, 17,  Rick Lobsinger, 17 and Don Van Vliet, 16. Others attending were Harvey Lane, Raymond Kramer, M. Stevens and R.J. Waechter. In all there were 16 members of the 21st attending the camp.
