A bevy of families, individuals, and hiking clubs were out in force this past Sunday, May 4 for a walkabout through the village of Mildmay to raise funds for Saugeen Hospice.

Thompson found the photo of Hafermehl’s daughter Susan (Bross), who later became the publisher of the paper, and her puppy Casey, while doing some decluttering at his home in Waterloo.
