A peek from the Town Crier’s Wednesday, September 10, 1997 issue – The highlight of the 4-H Dairy and Beef Shows at the Mildmay-Carrick Fall Fair was the Special Ribbon Calf Class. The Crier camera only captured a few of the participants. In total, 19 youngsters under the age of 10 proudly showed their cattle much to the crowd’s delight.
