A peek from the Town Crier’s Wednesday, May 21, 2008 issue – A Mildmay landmark was dismantled very quickled on May 20, when some 50 Mennonite workers gathered at the site. The old building is presently owned by local jewellery businessman, David Wendt and a new structure was going to replace it.  The building has served a number of past owners, probably as a feed and grist mill for the longest period of time, owned and operated by such former residents as Eugene Schnurr, Norman Hossfeld and Earl Guse.        – Town Crier photo
