A peek from the Town Crier’s Wednesday, January 20, 2010 issue – Joe Rys of Walkerton only learned a couple of hours before the “Torch Run” in Walkerton on Monday, December 28, 2009 that he could join the run because of a cancellation. He became “Runner 113” and has been spreading the excitement of Canada’s Olympics to area schools and service clubs and other groups almost daily including Mildmay Sacred Heart School.
