A peek from the Town Crier’s September 10, 2003 issue – A “Mildmay Idol Talent Show” was held at the opening of the Mildmay-Carrick Fall Fair. This group of well known “Rural People” (in opposition to the “Village People” which was all female performers earlier in the evening) performed the very appropriate Shania Twain song “Man, I Feel Like A Woman”. These dancers had the building rocking, clapping, cheering and standing on their seats. . . a fantastic grand finale to an evening of fun entertainment. – Town Crier photo
