A peek from the Town Crier’s October 18, 1968 issue – Last week was Fire Prevention Week and here is part of a parade that took place in Mildmay shortly after the supper hour. The local Fire Department and men were in the parade as well as the above sound car and billboard side promotion followed by a score or more of school children carrying placards and handing out material to viewers and homes. – Town Crier photo
