A peek from the Town Crier’s June 9, 1972 issue – Work on the Mildmay-Carrick swim pool swung into high gear this week and for the first time in more than a month, residents can now see that the project of the Mildmay Rotary Club will be ready for this summer. There had been several setbacks in the earlier construction, but all seems to be rectified. Here one can see the work being done on the change house and the pool builders too were busy on Wednesday of this week blowing in the cement of the pool itself. – Town Crier photo
