A peek from the Town Crier’s July 9, 1971 issue – These eight Rotarians from the Mildmay Rotary Club obtained perfect attendance for the past Rotary year of 1970-71 and were presented with a beautiful “world” ice bucket for the record. The presentation was made by Immediate Past President John Hafermehl who added, “We’d like to see more members standing in this same spot one year hence”.
