A peek from the Town Crier’s July 6, 1978 issue – Wall to Wall People Fill Mildmay Streets! The Crier camera was only able to catch this many people during the Tri-Celebration “Free” Midnight Street Dance. The event was staged following midnight on Sunday and an overwhelming amount of people turned out to dance to the music of “The Midnight Express”. The dance came to a close at about four in the morning. From all reports, everyone enjoyed the early morning dancing.  A parade from the new Recreation Complex started the night off.     – Town Crier photo
