A peek from the Town Crier’s August 27, 2003 issue – Six teams competed in the Bed Races at the Teeswater Rural Fair. This entry by the Ambassadors captured the “Best Decorated” prize, but it was the Green Gerichios who placed 1st (47.14 seconds) and The Woodchucks were 2nd (53.25 seconds). In the Toilet Races, 1st went to Glen Weber (15 seconds), 2nd to Josh Luyten (18 seconds) and 3rd to James Needham (27 seconds). – Town Crier photo
