A peek from the Town Crier files – October 26, 2005 – Some members of the Mildmay G’Old Dusters Hockey Team and wives were pleasantly surprised to meet TV star Jerry Seinfeld, who happened to be staying at the same hotel during the weekend of the Toledo Oldtimers Hockey Tournament (apparently Mr. Seinfeld was doing a comedy show in the area).When asked if they could get a picture taken with him, he said “sure!” When asked if he would like to go and watch one of the Mildmay hockey games, he simply replied “now that would be a joke!” Pictured with Mr. Seinfeld are (left to right) Tim Bross, Jeff Bross, Doug Ditner, Kelly Durrer, Mike Durrer, Simon Huber, Karen Huber, Kathy Ditner, Paula Bross and Sharon Bross
