A peek from the Town Crier files – March 30, 2005 – A huge crowd showed up at the 14th annual Optimist Club Easter Egg Hunt at the Mildmay Rotary Park on Easter Sunday… although there was still snow on the ground, the sun helped to brighten the day. Children, ages 12 and under, were invited to participate in the egg hunt with everyone receiving a chocolate treat. There were also numerous special draws for the children.
