Pictured is the Otter Creek Bluegrass Band, a local group who played a range of styles from classics to contemporary bluegrass favourites. Originally put together for the Bruce County Plowing Match, the group liked it and stayed together. Members included (left to right) Ken Brown (banjo), Bernie Range (mandolin and vocals), Ken Schaefer (fiddle), Barry Randall (guitar and vocals) and Karen Weber (bass and vocals). Karen Weber and Ken Schaefer were also members of other working bands including The Westernaires and The Lighthouse Swing Band. – Photo submitted
