#1 A peek from the Town Crier’s Friday, July 24, 1970 issue – The Mildmay Playground “Backwards Parade” was held to wrap up the second week of sessions at the Conservation Park. Above (left) we see the winners of the afternoon members in the “Most Original” class, and when they turned the right way (right) we see Heather Dahms (the 1st prize winner) and Sherry Culbert (the runner-up).
#2 Again in the afternoon Playground section, we have the winners in the “Backwards Class” (left) which when turned around the proper way (right) shows that the 1st prize honours went to Karen Koenig and Karen Haylow, the runner-up. – Town Crier photos
