A peek from the Town Crier’s Friday, April 7, 1967 issue – The Mildmay Squirts are pictured as they receive their W.O.A.A. “D” Championship crests from W.O.A.A. official Milt Filsinger (bottom left).  The team took a victory ride around the Village of Mildmay on a fire truck to celebrate the win.  Brian Weiler was the team’s Coach and John Thompson, the Manager.   The team was holding a draw for a trip for two to New York to be able to purchase jackets marking their victory.       – Town Crier photo
