 A peek from the Town Crier’s January 2004 issues – The Mildmay Bantam Girls “Lil Chicks” Broomball Team (above) and the Mildmay Bantam Boys “Jets” Broomball Team (below) each captured their respective championships at the Mildmay Junior Broomball Tournament. Both finals went into overtime, with the boys defeating Seaforth and the girls winning over Blyth.

From the Town Crier photo files, publication date unknown:  Spring, summer, fall and winter, travellers and residents from the area come to the Mildmay Conservation Park for a cool drink of water from the overflowing spring well. Tourists stop to fill their containers before heading to the beach areas (Port Elgin, Sauble Beach, Kincardine, etc.)

Santa and Mrs. Claus paid a visit to Mildmay-Carrick Public School during their “I Love Christmas” concert.  The entire school took part in the performance including the school band and choir.  There was also a good turnout of spectators.    – Town Crier photos

The first Christmas performance to be staged at the brand new Sacred Heart Senior School in Mildmay took place on Wednesday, December 15. The new gym proved to be an excellent facility and everyone enjoyed the “Christmas Sing-a-long”.  Pictured is part of the Nativity scene staged by the students during the singing of various Christmas Carols.
